Description

The Corporate Centre encompasses support functions other than Operations, and includes Compliance, Legal, Communications, Audit, Sustainability, and the Company Secretary’s Office. These teams are there to support all the Bank’s business lines in their endeavours to develop activities and serve clients at the same time as protecting its interests and reputation.


Mission

Act as Group referent for all sanctions topics and all business lines, in collaboration with local sanctions compliance officers. Ensure adherence to applicable sanction regimes as well as internal policies and procedures.


Main responsibilities

  •  Sanctions Management: Oversee and ensure compliance with international financial sanctions, including those imposed by the UN, EU, SECO, and other regulatory bodies.
  •  Monitoring and Control: Establish and maintain a sanctions monitoring program to detect and prevent potential violations. Conduct regular reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to sanctions policies.
  •  Analysis and Assessment: Perform in-depth analysis of transactions and business relationships to identify sanctions risks. Provide appropriate recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  •  Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to employees on sanctions compliance requirements. Raise awareness among staff about sanctions risks and best practices for managing them.
  •  Reporting and Communication: Prepare compliance and sanctions reports for senior management and regulators. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on compliance and sanctions issues.
  •  Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, risk management, and other relevant departments to ensure a consistent and effective approach to sanctions management.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory and legislative developments regarding sanctions and adapt the bank’s policies and procedures accordingly.

    • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
    • Experience required: at least 7-years' experience in a similar position
    • Experience in private banking: Mandatory
