Apple Pay
Apple Pay is an easy, secure, and private way for Union Bancaire Privée (UK) Limited clients to pay.
Your card details won’t be stored on your Apple device or sent to merchants, so your information stays private and secure. Plus, payments need to be authorised with Face ID or Touch ID when you pay in-store, in apps or on websites.
Extra security. This is built right in.
Apple Pay uses the security features built into your Apple device, including Face ID and Touch ID which are designed so only you can authorise payments.
No wallet? No problem.
Feel free to leave your wallet at home. With Apple Pay, you can pay with your Union Bancaire Privée (UK) Limited Visa card straight from your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Save time, every time.
With Apple Pay, information such as your name and address automatically populates at checkout. Now paying is faster than ever.
Frequently Asked Questions
Apple Pay allows people with an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch to make contactless payments in store. It can also be used for secure transactions on the web and in apps. In shops, Apple Pay is accepted wherever contactless payments are. There’s no purchase limit, although some retailers may cap payments at the GBP 100 contactless limit. It’s the safer way to pay as it keeps you from having to touch buttons or handle cash when you’re out getting what you need. To use Apple Pay, you will need to have a supported device. Here is a list from Apple.
Apple Pay is simple to set up and use. Just make sure your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch has the latest software update installed; you’ll find this under ‘General’ in ‘Settings’.
If you have the KH Cards app you can use it to add your card to your Apple device.
- Open your KH Cards App.
- Tap on which card you would like to add.
- Tap ‘Add to Apple Wallet’. You’ll see ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ if the card you’ve selected hasn’t already been added to your iPhone or a paired Apple Watch.

Apple Pay is the most secure way to pay as every transaction on your iPhone or iPad requires you to authenticate it with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Your Apple Watch is protected by the passcode that only you know, and your passcode is required every time you put on your Apple Watch. When you use your phone to pay in stores, Apple Pay doesn’t send your actual charge or debit card number with your payment. Instead, an encrypted virtual account number is used to represent your information, so your real card details stay safe. On top of the extra security offered by Apple Pay, you also get all the protections you would get with your debit and charge cards.
You can see a record of every payment you’ve made using Apple Pay by checking your account history in the KH Cards app. You can also see your last ten Apple Pay payments, including merchant details, under ‘Transaction history’ in the Wallet app.
On your iPhone or iPad, go to ‘Settings’ and open ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’. Select the card you want to remove, then scroll down and select ‘Remove This Card’. You can also delete a card from the Wallet app on your iPhone. Select a card, select the three dots icon next to it, then scroll down and choose ‘Remove This Card’. To remove a card from your Apple Watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to the 'My Watch' tab and open 'Wallet & Apple Pay'. Select the card you want to remove, then scroll down and select ‘Remove This Card’. To remove a card from your Mac, go to 'System Preferences' and then ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’. Click the card you want to remove and then click the ‘Remove’ button.
If your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Mac is lost or stolen, you can go to icloud.com/findicloud.com/ or use the Find My iPhone app to suspend or permanently remove your Union Bancaire Privée (UK) Limited Visa card from that device. This will happen even if your device is offline and not connected to a mobile or Wi-Fi network.
