UBP, a place for talent

Banking is about people. Our people, who create, develop, and provide the services and products that make our business. We strive to provide them with an environment that helps them thrive.

Experienced professionals

UBP’s success is, and always has been, built on a foundation of skilled and hard-working professionals. They are the bedrock of the Bank’s expertise and their ambition and curiosity makes us a forward-looking and innovative bank. We believe in every person having the freedom to provide their own unique input and come up with new ideas. Never satisfied with standing still, and determined to offer our employees every opportunity to keep developing in their careers, we also offer many ways of learning new skills.

Young Talents

Being a family-owned bank, we know something about the importance of combining the skills of the older and the younger generations. Without young people bringing their fresh perspectives to the table, we would be missing a crucial element in our strategy. Training the bankers of tomorrow is also a strong priority for us as we plan to be around for many more decades. We are proud to provide an apprenticeship programme as well as a graduate programme and many opportunities for internships.

A strong culture

UBP’s history may be relatively short, but the roots of the founding family go way back. The combination of timeless, fundamental values with the quest for innovation is what characterises our Bank and its people. In fact, we have a sound balance of complementary qualities. As our Board Chairman Daniel de Picciotto puts it: “We are Swiss but international, young but experienced, ambitious but humble, solid but agile.”
