Vey-Sern Ling’s role at UBP, which he joined in 2021, is to oversee technology equities coverage in Asia, keeping ahead of themes and trends that impact client investments.
He has over 18 years’ experience in technology equities research. In addition to advising clients on the opportunities and risks in the Asia technology sector, he also writes thought-leading content and regularly appears on financial news media. He was previously the Asia technology team leader at Bloomberg Intelligence, and before that spent more than a decade as a stock analyst at BNP Paribas and UBS investment banks.
He holds engineering and finance degrees from Stanford University, Imperial College, and Singapore Management University. He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2007.
