Description
The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. COO employees are committed to providing, with professionalism and enthusiasm, an efficient, proactive, high-quality service that meets the needs of clients within the context of the Bank’s overall strategy.
Mission
As part of the IT Leadership Management Team your mission will be to define a comprehensive and inclusive Technology Strategy aligned to the Bank’s strategy and to closely monitor its execution.
Main responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with the Group CIO and Executive Committee members to build and manage the Technology Strategy in accordance with the Bank strategy
- Present regular reports to Senior Management on the Bank’s Technology roadmap objectives and progress
- Constantly perform research on new technologies and innovations that could be used to improve the Bank’s products and services
- Collaborate with the IT Delivery Teams and other key functions such as Security and Data Governance to execute the Technology Strategy
- Ensure active participation and endorsement of the strategy by the IT department, Group COO Management and key Business Stakeholders, including regular presentations and reporting
- Lead and expend the existing Enterprise Architecture team to cover wider functional and technical domains and perform
- Keep proactive relationship management with internal business clients and external providers to align between company strategy, business specific needs and Technology strategy
Personal skills
High level of analytical quantitative skills (understanding company strategies, market positioning,financial statement analysis, valuation, financial modelling etc.) Ability to check the status quo and turn technology into something useful for the organization.
Education
- Education: Bachelor Degree
- Certification: in Computer Science, Information Systems ideally completed with a degree in business administration
Experience
- Years of experience: see below
- Experience required: Seasoned technologist with at least 10-years' experience in technology and management roles within the financial industry services (or coming from a technology environment with knowledge of the financial services industry). Strong knowledge of a large spectrum of technologies, a real technology acumen interested in innovation and how it will bring value and fit business objectives. Combination of Wealth Management, Asset Management, Trading and Operations knowledge. Experience in a multi-location and international context with Change Management and organizational transformation expertise.
