Simon joined UBP in 2019 as a consultant to the impact investing strategies. He is chair of the Impact Investment Committee and a member of the Impact Advisory Board, as well as Co-Chair of the Biodiversity Committee. 

Previously, he was Portfolio Manager Emerging Market Equities at Man Group and Head of Emerging Market Equities at Carmignac Gestion, during a 22-year career in public equity fund management working in the UK, France and Switzerland and in European and emerging market equities. 

In addition to his work at UBP, Simon holds various board and committee roles in impact investing. These include: Toniic, an international impact investor network; Pymwymic, a Netherlands-based impact investment cooperative; and The First Thirty, a UK-based investor in regenerative agriculture-focussed venture capital.

Simon holds a master’s in History from Trinity College, Cambridge and he is a CFA Charterholder.
