Fares began his career at UBP in 2006 as an analyst covering European small & mid-caps and the global industrial sector. He gradually took on portfolio management responsibilities, contributing to the launch of new strategies and to building UBP’s Swiss & Global Equity franchise.
In 2014, Fares moved to Lombard Odier to take on the challenge of building the new advisory offering for private clients and manage equity products. Once this mission was completed in 2017, he rejoined UBP as a senior portfolio manager of Swiss & global equities.
Fares holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC) and is a CFA Charterholder. He also graduated from IMD Executive MBA (EMBA) in 2019.
