Anthony Murphy

Head of Macro and Trading Strategies, UBP Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS)

Anthony, who joined the Bank in 2020, manages the research and portfolio management of a wide range of strategies as Head of Macro and Trading Strategies in UBP’s Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) team. He is also a member of the UBP AIS Investment Committee. 

Anthony has some 14 years of industry experience, having built up expertise as an Investment Manager and Investment Committee member at GAM Investments from 2012 to 2020 where he managed multiple institutional alternatives portfolios, with a research focus on systematic strategies. Prior to GAM Investments he was an Investment Analyst at Mercer.

Anthony holds one master’s in Economics from the University of Cambridge and another in Complex Systems Modelling from King’s College, London. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds an Investment Management Certificate.
