Description

The Business Manager plays a crucial role in aligning sales strategy with execution, ensuring that the sales team meets client needs and drives success in asset management.


Mission

This position combines execution with strategic oversight, requiring cross-team collaboration to deliver excellent client experiences. It reports to the COO of Institutional Clients.


Main responsibilities

Sales enablement

  • Support the Head of Institutional Sales and Head of Wholesale in planning, coordinating, executing, and following up on quarterly sales reviews and business plans.
  • Coordinate the efforts for the restructuring Global distributions and institutional frameworks.
  • Manage various requests from management in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Develop and optimise tools, processes, and frameworks to enhance sales performance and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align client needs with sales strategies.
  • Contribute to the integration and optimization of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and BI tools for efficient sales tracking and client data management.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of client and market data to derive actionable insights (e.g., Morningstar, Allfunds…).
  • Facilitate the Strategic Innovation Committee ensuring effective communication and responsibility for follow-up on action points.
     

Business Analysis 

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis for business or regulatory projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between sales, product, IT, and legal teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Client service activities

  • Act as a second line of defense for complex client service inquiries.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that address the strategic objectives of the Client Service team.

Education

  • Education: Master Degree
  • Certification: ster degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics tools is a plus.

Experience

  • Years of experience: 7-10 : senior
  • Experience required: Minimum 7+ years in Asset management, sales enablement, risk or performance department. Deep understanding of asset management products, distribution strategies, and client relationship dynamics. Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

  • English: Fluent
