Description

UBP's structured products activity is expanding, leading to the opening of a position in Luxembourg. While fully integrated into the team based in Switzerland and Asia, the individual in Luxembourg will primarily focus on developing the local activity by collaborating with various teams of bankers and meeting with our clients - defining the offer, commercial strategy, innovation, and execution.

We are looking for an experienced profile who is both autonomous and a team player, with strong commercial skills.


Main responsibilities

Coordination of the commercial development of the structured products activity in LUXEMBOURG
  • Take initiatives to achieve quantitative objectives for the structured products business
  • Implement a commercial strategy in coordination with key internal stakeholders on both Relationship managers and Advisory sides
  • Build strong relationship with private bankers and team of bankers
  • Client facing to promote structured products activity alongside with internal partners
  • Favour internal synergies to leverage on existing competencies, especially with DPM and Advisory
  • Provide expertise and support to internal partners and clients
  • Responsible for end customer satisfaction
  • Create and implement products education of internal business partners – or end clients if needed.
  • Deployment of digital tools to internal business partners
  • Initiate and coordinate new projects
  • Cover other entities with the rest of the SP team

Development of innovative solutions for the bank
  • Design, analysis, and selection of SP solutions dedicated to private banking
  • Competitive intelligence and sourcing of ideas from issuers
  • Proposal of products and ideas based on market opportunities and technical parameters 

Ensure the best execution in a secure framework in open architecture
  • Pricing and development of structured products in a secure operational framework
  • Focus on complex cases (in comparison to flow products)
  • Development of tailor-made solutions
  • Ensure best execution in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Back up of the Flow products activity in case of large volumes.

    Education

    • Education: Master Degree
    • Certification: Outstanding academic record with relevant masters

    Experience

    • Years of experience: +10 : senior
    • Experience required: Min 10-year experience as SP Experienced in product engineering & technical expertise on derivatives
    • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

    Language

    • English: Fluent
    • French: Fluent
    • Other: (Knowledge of Danish, Swedish, or Finnish is advantageous.)
