Technologist with both functional and technical expertise in the field of WM Tax acting as a Technical Business Analyst in the IT tax team

Challenges

Tax Business Analyst

Main responsibilities

  • As a member of the IT Tax team  in the IT department, the successful candidate as Tax Business Analyst will partner with the business and IT stakeholders to:
  • Provide support on Tax reporting campaigns
  • Able to animate workshops with Technical and Business/Support Functions on tax realted topics
  • Define clear scope, requirements and specifications for Tax issue resolution and/or enhancements and/or implemenatation of new tax projects 
  • Implement the technical solution respecting the bank’s software lifecycle
  • Requested skills and experience:
  • Mandatory experience  in the Finance industry-
  • Communicate to the business ( deadlines,...)

Activities (not exhaustive):

  • Functional and Technical Analyzis of differences between the Core banking platform, the rules engine, the Tax platform, and ultimately the Tax software solutions ( EasyTax, Fitax)
  • Document & define the specifications for changes related to tax solutions and/or the rules angine
  • Support and partner with development teams
  • Define use cases, test scenarios and provide support to the integration/UAT testing

 

 

Education

  • Education: Other
  • IT Tools: At ease with Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Experience

  • Years of experience: +10 : senior
  • Experience required: Knowledge of tax jurisdictions and the context of IT solutions - proven experience 10-15 years in the maintenance and implementation of Tax solutions - ability to work with an external vendor
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory
