Description

The Bank’s entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer. It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost. The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics. Mission

The Central Vault officer is responsible for the management, security and operations of the precious metals vault and physical certificates including security and traceability of all assets entering and leaving the vault.

Challenges

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure physical delivery to Relationship manager and Clients
  • Handling receipts and deliveries of physical securities and metals
  • Maintain required levels of precious metal available in the vault
  • Maintains internal procedures up-to-date in regards with the security and regulations of the Bank’s vault.
  • Performs inventory maintenance, verification and accounting entries with reconciliation department
  • Performs, confirms and maintains banking insurances according to the vault valuation.
Trading tasks:
  • Processes, monitors and validates precious metals and private placement
  • Ensure good receipt of Private Equity subscription and redemption proceeds with external funds managers
  • Reconciliation and monitoring of holdings, entitlements determination, pending positions

Education

  • Education: Bachelor Degree

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

  • French: Mother Tongue
  • English: Fluent

Personal skills

  • Swiss resident: Mandatory

Strong knowledge on financial instruments (equities, bonds, warrants, private placements, restricted securities, funds and other), and their operating flows. Sense of risk associated with the delivery and receipt of securities. Flexibility, adaptation to change. Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify problems and propose solutions. Sense of priorities and capacity to take decisions. Consistently comply with internal & external regulation.
